1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Arbour Health ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. Who Can Use Arbour Health

• You must be 18 years of age or older
• You must provide accurate registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• One account per person — accounts are not transferable

3. What Arbour Health Is

Arbour Health is a personal wellness tracking and planning application. It helps you:

• Track weight, health metrics, fitness, and hydration
• Plan meals and manage nutrition
• Import and visualise data from Apple Health
• Access AI-powered recipe and meal plan suggestions

4. What Arbour Health Is Not

Specifically, Arbour Health:

• Is not approved by the MHRA as a medical device
• Is not regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
• Does not provide FCA-regulated financial or insurance advice
• Does not replace your cardiac rehabilitation programme or clinical care plan

5. AI-Generated Content

Arbour Health uses AI to generate meal plans, recipe suggestions, and nutritional information. This content is for general wellness purposes only. AI-generated nutritional information may not be perfectly accurate and should not be used as the basis for clinical dietary decisions, particularly if you have specific medical conditions.

6. Your Health Data

You own your health data. By using the App, you grant Arbour Intelligence Ltd a limited licence to store and process your data solely to provide the service. We will never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter. Arbour Health is not liable for decisions made based on inaccurate data you have provided.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Reverse engineer or copy the App's code or design
• Use the App in any way that could harm other users or Arbour Intelligence Ltd

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arbour Intelligence Ltd shall not be liable for:

• Any health outcomes, positive or negative, arising from use of the App
• Loss of data due to technical failure (though we maintain backups)
• Decisions made based on AI-generated content
• Any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

9. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We may occasionally suspend the service for maintenance. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned downtime.

10. Subscription and Payment

Arbour Health currently offers a free tier. Where paid features are introduced:

• Prices will be clearly displayed before purchase
• You have a 14-day cooling off period under UK consumer law
• Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the App. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
